my games
Games from the Xbox app, Steam and EA in one list with box art, along with Xbox 360 games run through the Xenia emulator and GameCube games through Dolphin. Add-ons and downloadable content appear under their game.
Windows dashboard · hobby project
Basically360 is a full-screen, controller-first dashboard for Windows PCs, styled after the Xbox 360 dashboard. It brings every game you own into one place, and you can use all of it from the couch.
What it does
Basically360 replaces the Windows desktop while you're playing. It looks and sounds like the 360's 2011 dashboard, and it launches games from all the places a modern PC keeps them.

Browse trending, popular and new films and shows, or everything on one streaming service. See trailers and every service a title is on, and open it in that service.
How it works
Basically360 is one small Windows program with nothing to install around it. It doesn't run anything in the background once you close it.
Basically360 opens full screen, plays its start-up sequence and lands on home.
It reads which games are installed for the Xbox app, Steam, EA, Xenia and Dolphin, then shows them with their covers.
Signing in to Xbox LIVE or Discord is optional. Each one opens that service's own sign-in page in your browser.
The game launches and Basically360 steps aside. The guide button brings it back.
Third-party services
Basically360 talks directly to these services from your PC. It doesn't run a server of its own, so no requests pass through anything run by Basically360.

Privacy
Nothing. It has no analytics, no ads, no tracking and no accounts of its own. It has no servers, so nothing you do in it is sent to the developer.
Basically360 never sees your password. Sign-in happens on the service's own page in your browser, and the service gives back a token that only allows what's listed under services. Signing out deletes the stored token.
Delete the Basically360 folder and everything it stored is gone. You can also remove its access from your Microsoft or Discord account settings at any time.
